Spice Girls members could have had their reunion as they were recently invited to be a part of reality show 'X Factor,' but the hopes were ruined by Victoria Beckham's busy schedule.

The former girl band's members were to come on the show and help Melanie Brown choose her final three contestants in Mexico before the live shows, but unfortunately, only three out of four showed interest, the Mirror reported.

With the new store launch in London and her recent appointment as UN's Goodwill Ambassador, the 40-year-old fashion designer couldn't squeeze the show appearance in her schedule and had politely declined.

The show's producers then dropped the idea of having just Emma Bunton, 38, Geri Halliwell, 42, and Melanie Chisholm, 40, and a source said that the makers thought the reunion would have looked "weak" without David Beckham's wife presence.

The girls' had last appeared together back in 2012 when they performed at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics and launched their short-lived musical, 'Viva Forever.
