PR guru Lord Bell claims 'vain' Princess Diana behaved like 'sulking brat'

PR guru Lord Bell, best known for his advisory role in Margaret Thatcher's general election campaigns, has claimed that Princess Diana used to behave like a "sulking brat."

The 72-year-old advertising executive, who never had much time for late Princess of Wales, said that she used PR men to transform herself into a "tragic figure" in order to win the public's support, the Daily Star reported.

Bell added that she fancied the privileges of being the Princess of Wales, but did not like the sacrifices and responsibilities and when she couldn't be a Disney Princess all the time, she started sulking and whingeing.

Bell, who met the late Princess when he was invited for dinner at a friend's house in 1993, described how "vain" Lady Diana turned up in big heels and a short skirt to ensure all eyes were on her and "looked like a horse."

He continued that he couldn't make himself interested in her banal "air-headedness" as most of the evening she just talked about herself and her clothes and things that had little relevance to any of them there.
