Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan met German Minister of Education and Research Anja Karliczek in Berlin.
The two sides reviewed their cooperation on skill development and entrepreneurship.
"We agreed to cooperate on the area of dual vocational education which will link our students with industry and increase their employability," Pradhan tweeted.
"..soon a German delegation will visit India to work out details," he added.
Pradhan is currently on a two-day visit to Germany, after attending the 7th Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) International Seminar at the Imperial Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria on Wednesday.
On Thursday he participated in 4th International Yoga Day at Berlin's Alexanderplatz.
