President Pranab Mukherjee will be on a six-day visit to Belgium and Turkey beginning on Wednesday.
President Mukherjee will visit Belgium from October 2 to October 5, at an invitation from the King of the Belgians.
His visit to Belgium will be the first by an Indian President, and during his stay there, he is scheduled to inaugurate the 'Europalia-India 2013-14', jointly with H. M. King Philippe.
After Belgium, President Mukherjee will travel to Turkey on a state visit from October 5 to October 7, at the invitation of the President of Turkey.
President Mukherjee's visit to Turkey will be the third visit by an Indian president to the country, after visits in 1993 and 1998.
He will be accompanied by a high level delegation which includes parliamentarians and academicians along with top officials.
