Senior AAP leader Prashant Bhushan on Tuesday said he would most probably attend the party's national executive meeting in the national capital tomorrow.

"Yes, most probably I will attend the meeting. A lot of people have said the meeting is important, I got the reservation, so thought I'll go," Bhushan told ANI here.

Bhushan had earlier in the day stated that it would be hard for him to return to Delhi from Himachal Pradesh to attend the crucial meeting as he had too many meetings fixed there.

The national executive meeting will decide on various issues including the latest controversy over rift in the party and may decide the future of senior leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav.

Various sections of the media have reported a rift within the AAP after its internal Lokpal Admiral (Retd.) L. Ramdas wrote a letter to party chief Arvind Kejriwal as well as party members, Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan, expressing concern over the growing divide within the party.

Ramdas, in his letter, reportedly sought to draw the attention of the founding members to the importance of ' internal unity' and appealed for a quick resolution.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh had earlier said that attempts were being made to change Kejriwal as AAP's national convener.

The rift within the AAP came out in the open with Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan voicing dissent against the manner in which the party is being run by Kejriwal.

The two leaders also reportedly offered to opt out of the Political Affairs Committee of the party.
