President Pranab Mukherjee will receive the first copy of book 'Charaiveti, Charaiveti' from Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari who will formally release it at a function to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.
The function will be attended by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu and Rajya Sabha MP Sharad Pawar.
The book 'Charaiveti, Charaiveti' is a compilation of select recollections of sixty years in public life of Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik.
It reflects Naik's philosophical bent of mind and his commitment to Indian culture and traditions.
