The Press Club of India condemned the ink attack on Jammu and Kashmir MLA Engineer Rashid today.
"This was not a press club function. The Press Club nevertheless condemns this kind of hooliganism," said Press Club of India chief Rahul Jalali.
Jalali, however, appealed to the government to take stringent action against the miscreants.
Rashid was attacked with ink outside the Press Club of India by Vishnu Gupta-led Hindu Sena.
Delhi Police have detained two persons in connection with the incident. The arrested persons have been taken to the Parliament Street Police Station.
