Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Gujarat's Surat on Saturday.
Here he will also hand over certificates to beneficiaries of various official schemes.
Later in the evening, he will be flagging off of the 'Run for New India Marathon' in Surat.
The Prime Minister will also be visiting Daman to launch various development projects and also address a public meeting there.
The Prime Minister will visit Chennai, Puducherry and Gujarat in the next two days.
