Speculation is rife over the reason behind Prince's sudden demise on April 21. A recent revelation suggests that the pop star was fighting off waves of sore throats and stomach pains.
The 'Purple Rain' singer's personal chef, Ray Roberts, recently informed that some time before his death, the former started seeking for food that were easier to digest, reports News.com.au.
The chef, who cooked for Prince for almost three years, said in an interview that there was "not even a hint" of any abnormality on the night before his death.
But Roberts added that he started noticing changes in the singer's diet as he was eating less and drinking less water and looked like he was losing weight.
"It felt like he wasn't himself probably the last month or two. I think he was just struggling with being sick a lot," he stated.
This information came on the backdrop of the investigation to find out whether Prince died from an overdose of painkillers.
It was reported earlier that the 'Little Red Corvette' hit-maker travelled about 10km from home to pick up prescription medicines, the night before he died.
Prince was found dead at his Paisley Park home on April 21 at the age of 57.
