A printing mix up has led to some of the early copies of Helen Fielding' s latest Bridget Jones book to have chunks from Sir David Jason's memoirs in the middle.

It has been revealed that about 40 pages from 'My Life' got printed in Jones: Mad About the Boy, as they both released at the same time in the market, the BBC reported.

Vintage publishers have said that they were recalling the misprinted copies and replacing them with correct versions.

A spokesperson from the publishers said that the swapping has given the readers an accidental preview of David Jason's autobiography.
