At least three militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Tral area of Pulwama district on Thursday.
The encounter started yesterday evening after the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir police began an anti-terror operation in Mir Mohalla of Dadasara village.
The security forces have seized three AK 47 rifles and eight magazines so far.
