Radio Mirchi 98.3FM provided just the right start to all the college students who have geared up for the new session in the national capital.
With the launch of a weeklong (August 1-5, 2016) campaign 'Mirchi Degree' Radio Mirchi aims to boost the confidence of each student.
The campaign is curated to make the students believe that it is not only the formal degree that will take them to heights but the unconventional talent hidden in them also plays a vital role in touching the feet of success.
The popular prankster RJ Naved kick started the campaign with a Flag-off ceremony at the north campus on August 1 where a fully loaded Mirchi Bus moved towards the 1st destination 'Khalsa College'.
A 36 Feet fully branded Volvo deployed in the premises of the college served as a perfect hangout spot for the students. Radio Mirchi team along with the Mirchidaar RJs invited the students to showcase their talent through a Live performance inside the bus and provided them a chance to earn a Mirchi Degree.
These entries are being registered everyday and the final 2 winners will be announced on the last day of the campaign. The winners will not only get a chance to earn a Mirchi Degree but will also share space On-air with one of the RJs Live on their shows.
The eventful day also witnessed students shaking their legs on the newly launched Mirchi Jingle and selected hip-hop tracks inside the bus. These exciting videos were uploaded on Mirchi's social platforms that created viral affect on the social waves.
The selfie zone designed in the Mirchi bus engaged the students in taking fun-filled selfies with their selected props. The students were also seen posting these funky pictures on their social handles tagging themselves to #mirchidegree. The best images were gratified with a Mirchi goody bag.
Commenting on thel aunch of the campaign, Nitin Singh, Senior Vice President, Radio Mirchi said, "The property 'Mirchi Degree' has been built to enhance the connect with the youth. Looking at the response received today, we are positive about taking our relationships with our young audience to great heights. The campaign is totally in sync with the Mirchi spirit that our station holds and the achievers that will be selected will also be reflecting the same spirit."
The very cool Mirchi bus will be seen hopping from one college to the other, covering 10 Delhi University colleges in total in 5 days.
The campaign is also amplified on-air where the RJs will give Mirchi Degree to the established young achievers like Arnub Kumar (TVF), Vijendra Singh (Boxer), Rahul Ram (Indian Ocean) and Ritesh Agarwal, CEO (Oyo Rooms) etc.
