The Ajinkya Rahane-led Indian cricket team departed for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe early this morning.

India is scheduled to play three one-day internationals and two T-20 internationals during the tour. The first match between the two sides will be played in Harare on July 10.

The Indian team will be hoping to return to form after their disappointing tour of Bangladesh.

Many senior players like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and Umesh Yadav have been rested by the selectors, while veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh has been called up for a tour after a long gap.
