Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will be travelling to Europe to spend his New Year.
Confirming the news, Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "I will be travelling to Europe for a few days. A very Happy New Year to everyone. Hope the new year brings much joy and happiness to you and everyone close to you!"
Earlier, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi along with the other accused in the National Herald case appeared before Metropolitan Magistrate Lovleen in response to summons issued against them.

They have been summoned by the trial court on prima facie charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal breach of trust and dishonest misappropriation of property under relevant sections of the law.
The court will next hear the case on February 20.
