Rahul Gandhi to visit Maharashtra today

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will arrive here today to interact with the party functionaries.

According to television reports, Gandhi would be having deliberations with the district-level office bearers and prominent representatives of the people drawn from Vidarbha and Marathwada region along with few more selected districts for assessment of the state of party affairs at the conclave at Surabardi near Nagpur.

Gandhi will also hold similar meetings on Wednesday in Pune with district and block Congress committee office-bearers and elected local self-government members.

The MPs, members of the state legislative assembly and council will also attend the meeting.
