Rain storms wreak havoc in parts of UP, Bihar

Four people died in the storm with lightning, which lashed parts of the city here on Monday evening.

All the bodies have been sent for postmortem.

Several houses have been damaged and trees were also uprooted in the region.

Meanwhile, in Pekha village, in the Katihar region of Bihar, three members of a family lost their lives after a tree uprooted in the heavy rain.

Several people are feared dead across the state because of the storm.

People trapped under uprooted trees are being rescued.
