The Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) received another setback today, when four of its senior members joined the BJP.

Newly appointed Maharashtra BJP chief Raosaheb Danve welcomed Pravin Darekar, Vasant Geete, Ramesh Patil and Akhilesh Chaubey into the party fold, along with former Shiv Sena MLA Kashinath Mengale.

Addressing reporters after the induction ceremony, Danve said all of them have joined the party inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.

Defending the induction of Pravin Darekar, whom the party had labelled as corrupt in last year's poll campaign, Danve said that as per law, everyone is considered to be innocent until proven guilty.
