Rajnath Singh asks Kiren Rijiju to visit Assam over killing of SP
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh asked the newly appointed Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju to visit Karbi Anglong in Assam regarding the killing of a Superintendent of Police (SP) in Hamren District.
A Superintendent of Police (SP) and another policeman have been killed in an encounter with the militants in Assam's Hamren District.
According to reports, the senior police officer was leading a raid, involving three police parties, against the KPLP militants late on Thursday.
