Pakistan's former Test captain Ramiz Raja has said that the ongoing one-day international series between India and Australia has produced quality cricket and the visitors will benefit from it to a large extent during the return Ashes series Down Under.
According to The Daily Times, Raja expressed that people had said that Australia should not have played this series before the Ashes but he thought that it was going to help them and raise their confidence for the Ashes.
He said the three matches of the series so far had produced some very exciting big-scoring games without sacrificing the quality of cricket.
Australia will take on England in the Ashes in December, the report said.
Raja said that fans had seen some quality batting and bowling although India's bowling was struggling a bit in the series.
