Former Pakistan Test skipper Ramiz Raja has warned his nation's squad to be wary of hosts Bangladesh, who are brimming with confidence following an impressive run at the World Cup, in the forthcoming series, which is starting later in April.
Bangladesh advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time in the history of sport's pinnacle tournament following a 15-run win over England in the group stages.
Admitting that the Bangladeshi batsmen were superior to their Pakistani counterparts, Ramiz said that the Mashrafe Mortaza-led team looked a changed and more confident side in the World Cup, the Express Tribune reported.
Ramiz further said that he didn't think the upcoming limited over games are going to be easy sailing for them in Bangladesh, adding that Pakistan should expect a close series.
The tour will commence with a three-match ODI series starting April 17 followed by a Twenty20 match (T20) on April 24 and a two-match Test series.
