Randeep Hooda has revealed that he aspires to be a road movie actor while promoting his new film 'Highway' in Delhi.

The 'Jism 2' actor said, "I think it was a very realistic experience. I think we really took the high road and kind of everybody lived their parts very much so and I think road movies from now on, I will be keen on doing more road movies because you do not get up at the same place or go shoot in the same place or eat the same food either. So I think I am going to quit making these other movies and only make road movies. I want to be a road movie actor".

Speaking about the film, Imitiaz Ali said, "It was very enchanting. It was very innovative. It was a learning experience. I think it was a very exotic journey, that's what I feel".

He added that his films in actuality are a journey of self realization and strife, which a great deal of our generation face today.

'Highway' revolves around two characters from diverse backgrounds, portrayed by the 37-year-old actor and Alia Bhatt, who take a road trip in a truck and explores the psychological and spiritual side of the characters during their testing times.

The film, shot in six states across north and northeast India capturing the hilly terrain and landscape, is scheduled to release on February 21, 2014.
