Bollywood actor Salman Khan's fan Naveen Raj Chauhan on Wednesday said that he was ready to go to jail if the actor is found guilty in 2002 the hit-and- run case.
"I am going to Mumbai court now. If they take him to jail even I will go with him. I had gone to his sister's wedding where his bodyguards treated me with biryani and bisleri water. If anyone sends him to jail I will not tolerate it," said Chauhan.
John Francis, an eyewitness in the controversial case, said that he wishes the actor is not found guilty in the case.
"When I came close the scene I recognized Salman, I didn't see whether he was driving or not. He was standing outside the car when I came. I am praying that Salman gets free," he said.
Special prayers were held in Kanpur and Varanasi for the actor earlier in the day.
The Bollywood superstar's fans are going all out to express theirsupport for him on twitter.
The hashtag #WeLoveYouSalmanKhan was trending on twitter this morning, with many fans saying that they were praying for the verdict to be in Salman's favour
Meanwhile, the Tamil groups held a protest outside the Mumbai sessions court demanding Salman's arrest.
