Ream, Geordie, Pepsi among weirdest baby names of 2013

Unusual names like Geordie, Pepsi, Luck, Lohan and Dallas have become some of the most popular unique baby names in 2013.

According to Bounty Parenting Club's annual report of names given to over 370,000 babies, television and celebrities have had immense influence on new parents, the Daily Star reported.

Ream, Rosielee Puppy were among the more unusual girls' names in 2013, while, names like Paradise, Vogue, Pinky and Tea were also chosen for little girls.

Kurt Cobain's legendary 1990s rock band 'Nirvana' was also considered by parents, in addition to Peppa, which is a popular cartoon pig, while Porter, Perseus, Kassius and Boden were selected as baby names for boys.

Jack topped the list, followed by Oliver, while Harry, Charlie and Jacob complete the top five most popular names of the year, closely followed by Alfie, Oscar, James, Thomas and Noah.

Amelia topped the baby names list for the second year running, followed by Olivia, Emily, Ava and Poppy, while Jessica, Isla, Sophie, Mia and Ruby complete the girls' top 10.

Lisa Penney, spokeswoman for Bounty said that it was great to see parents getting creative with their name choices for their little ones, and it seems that the sky's the limit when it comes to creating something unique.
