Lamar Odom is on the path of recovery as he has woken up from the coma he slipped into following a drug overdose in Nevada.
The 35-year-old former NBA star is able to communicate now and when he opened his eyes he saw his wife Khloe Kardashian by his side and said, "Hey baby," along with a thumbs up, reports E! Online.
It is being said that Odom is no longer using breathing tube and is speaking and functioning properly.
The basketball player is surrounded by his estranged wife, kids and other family member.
