Bob Marley is set to be the face of new global weed brand 'Marley Natural'.

The brand is pitched as "a premium cannabis brand rooted in the life and legacy" of one of Jamaica's greatest cultural exports, News.com.au reported.

The 'No Woman No Cry' hitmaker's family said that 33 years after his untimely death, he is being remembered with an eponymous brand of top-end marijuana and his daughter said that it seems natural that her dad should be part of this conversation.

The marijuana brand is being developed with a Washington State based company and is intended to be sold in the US and possibly internationally starting next year.
