D.S. Rawat, General Secretary, Assocham has complimented the Chief Economic Advisor for presenting a project which would economically establish the credibility of the government.
He said demonetisation had a huge impact on overall economic growth due to which lakhs of people have lost their jobs. The Economic Survey signifies that the growth rate might be in single digit.
"Instead of just working on figures, we must wait and watch and see as to how prices would move and also monitor how the geoprotocol system functions. Keeping a complete accountability of exports is of utmost important", Rawat said.
"Revival of the economy, which was hurt due to demonetisation, might take another three quarters, and the effect of the same, will retain in 2017-2018", he said.
