Rihanna has stormed into number 1 spot in UK charts, as the featured artist on Eminem's new track 'The Monster'.
The duo were able to ward off a challenge from boyband 'One Direction', who were tipped to have their fourth number one with 'Story Of My Life', the BBC reported.
The track is Eminem's first number one hit since 2006, and is taken from his latest album 'Marshall Mathers LP 2'.
Previous collaboration with the 25-year-old singer, 'Love the Way You Lie', was able to make it to number two in the UK charts 2010.
New Zealand singer Lorde's track 'Royals' was placed at 2nd position.
