The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Friday will move to Election Commission to complain against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'shaitan' remark on Lalu Prasad Yadav in his rally at Munger.

The RJD would also urge EC to ban Prime Minister Modi from campaigning in Bihar for the upcoming assembly polls.

Prime Minister Modi had, earlier in his rally at Munger, slammed the RJD supremo over his beef remark.

He used the RJD chief's clarification that it was 'shaitan' (demon) that forced his tongue to speak out such a thing, to hit out against him.

"How did Shaitan find his (Lalu's) address? Why did Shaitan choose him among all people in the entire state, nation and the world? Should people of Bihar allow the person in whom Shaitan resides to rule the state?" asked Prime Minister Modi.

With just one day remaining for the campaigning of phase one to conclude, leaders from all political parties are making all attempts to woo the voters in the state.

Campaigning for this phase will end at 5 pm on Saturday. Polling for this phase will be held on October 12.

Thursday was the last date of filing of nominations for the third phase of the assembly polls. Polling for this phase will be held on October 28.
