Filipino politician and boxer Manny Pacquiao is following a rigorous training routine ahead of his mega-bout with unbeaten US boxer Floyd Mayweather, and he has been using only his left hand to stop his opponents while sparring.

Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach has revealed that the Filipino is focusing on his left hand in the build up to the 300 million dollars mega-fight, sparring for a full 12 rounds using just the one hand.

And his left hand is expected to be the key behind any victory over Mayweather, as the Filipino fighter has stopped over half of his opponents with his left, The Mirror reported.

Roach revealed that Pacquiao has had a game plan on how to beat Mayweather ever since the fight was announced and added that the southpaw's sharpness would be crucial.

Roach revealed that they did 12 rounds of left hand only, adding that the right hand was never used. He insisted that it's all about usage, muscle memory.

Roach insisted that Pacquiao and Mayweather would be equal at some point in the bout, adding that the Filipino has been favoring the right side so much currently and he needs to bring the left back.

Roach has also warned Mayweather that he would have nowhere to hide once he enters the ring on May 2.
