India ended a five-match winless streak in their 2018 football World Cup qualifying campaign by registering a 1-0 win over Guam in Bengaluru.
Robin Singh scored the decisive goal in the 10th minute to give the Sunil Chhetri-led side three points in the Group D match.
Although Guam tried to stage a strong comeback, the hosts were successfully able to thwart their rivals' challenge despite losing Sehnaj Singh in the 41st minute.
With the win, India avenged their 2-1 defeat against Guam in their first leg contest. However, they are still languishing down at the bottom of their group with three points.
