Robin Williams, who passed away in 2014, is getting some special tribute from the Bay Area.
Months after the announcement that the government officials will change the name of the famous Waldo tunnel connecting the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin County was made, signs were recently erected, displaying the newly minted Robin Williams Tunnel, reports E! Online.
The tunnel was previously nicknamed Rainbow Tunnel due to the colors displayed on the outside arch, which makes the new Williams homage all the more special as it reminds people of his character in 'Mork and Mindy.'
Williams was a resident of Marin County and was found dead at him home in the upscale neighborhood at the age of 63 back in the summer of 2014.
