Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has said that there is no extra pressure on his squad despite the fact that the club is looking upon a first league title since 1990.
Rodgers said that his side will deal with their upcoming clashes for the Premier League title in the same way as they have from the very first game of the season, adding that there is no added pressure than what they had then.
According to Sport24, Rodgers' squad can take a step closer towards the Premier League title if they win their clash against Norwich City on Sunday, but the manager said that everyone at the club is keeping their feet on the ground.
Rodgers said that Liverpool is looking to win the game at the weekend, adding that they are still in check with reality in terms of where they stand currently.
Rodgers said that they have made progress this season and that their objective to qualify for the Champions League was always going to be a very difficult one because of the competitive nature of the league.
However, the Liverpool boss added that the club is still on course to qualify for the Champions League, and if they bag a victory this weekend then that would rubber-stamp it for them.
Liverpool are currently placed first in the Premier League table at 77 points, two points adrift of second placed Chelsea, with four games of the season remaining, the report added.
