Star striker Cristiano Ronaldo struck two goals as Real Madrid settled for a 3-3 draw against Las Palmas in their La Liga clash at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium here on Thursday.
Zinedine Zidane's side made the breakthrough first when midfielder Isco slotted home after a fine pass from Mateo Kovacic in the eighth minute of the match.
However, Palmas took only two minutes to turn the tide, pulling the equalizer through midfielder Tana, goal.com reported.
The match took another massive turn just after the half-time when Gareth Bale received the first red card of his Real Madrid career.
In the 56th minute of the match, Jonathan Viera converted a penalty corner into a goal to give his side a lead before Kevin-Prince Boateng netted his seventh goal of the season just three minutes later.
However, Ronaldo pulled a late penalty and a thumping header in the space of three minutes to rescue a valuable point for the capital club.
As a result, Madrid are now on the longest scoring streak ever by a La Liga side, thus beating the previous record held by Barcelona at 44 games.
Madrid, who are standing second in the La Liga table, will now lock horns with Eibar on March 4.
