Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has said that his team's Capital One Cup tie against Liverpool will be the ideal game to bounce back from a heavy derby defeat.
According to Metro.co.uk, local rivals Manchester City beat David Moyes' side 4-1 recently, with Rooney netting a late consolation free kick.
Despite having already lost to Liverpool in the Premier League this season, the striker believes another big grudge match is exactly what he and his teammates need to return to winning ways, the report said.
Rooney said that it is not nice to lose a derby and thankfully they had another massive game against Liverpool, adding that they had to try and get the victory to put the Manchester City defeat to the back of their minds.
