The reference rate of rupee was on Tuesday fixed at 63.9315 against the US dollar by the Reserve Bank of India as against 63.9623 on Monday.
India's central bank also fixed the rupee reference rate for the euro at 70.0497 as against 70.1602 on Monday.
The exchange rates for the British pound and the Japanese yen against the rupee were quoted at 99.8226 and 51.59 per 100 yen, respectively by the Reserve Bank of India in a statement issued today.
