Around 13 people were injured in Moscow's Gorky Park when a pedestrian bridge collapsed just a few minutes after midnight on Monday.
The bridge, which was packed with people, came apart when the Russian national anthem was playing to usher in the new year, according to Sputnik.
None of the victims have been gravely injured, emergency services told Russian state media. Further information is awaited.
