The Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team on Friday interviewed former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus in connection with Russian meddling in the US election.
The CNN quoted that Priebus' attorney William Burck, while confirming the news said that, "Mr. Priebus was voluntarily interviewed by Special Counsel Mueller's team today. He was happy to answer all of their questions."
As per reports, Special counsel investigators were expected to begin interviewing current and former staff's of the White House regarding the same in recent weeks.
Mueller's team recently questioned National Security Council chief of staff Keith Kellogg regarding former national security adviser Michael Flynn's tenure at the White House.
Mueller's investigators are looking for documents and emails relating to the dismissals of Flynn and FBI Director James Comey, according to sources familiar with the matter.
