Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone have been tapped for Damien Chazelle's upcoming project "La La Land."
The Lionsgate's contemporary romantic musical, which was penned by Chazelle before his Oscar nominated movie "Whiplash," centers on a love story between a jazz pianist and an aspiring actress, Deadline.com reported.
Though the studio had originally wanted 'Whiplash' star Miles Teller and Emma Watson, but Teller seems to have moved on and Watson's now busy with Disney's 'Beauty And The Beast.'
The deal for both Gosling and Stone, who had previously worked together in 'Crazy Stupid Love,' is yet to be sealed.
