South Korean airport has resumed operation as Typhoon Kong-rey has moved off the Korean peninsula.

Early on Saturday, the airport authorities had cancelled as many as 276 flights, including 123 from Jeju International Airport flights owing to the typhoon, reported Yonhap News Agency.

International flights between Japan and South Korea were also cancelled due to the typhoon.

The typhoon has moved away from the South-Asian archipelago. Earlier, the Korea Meteorological Administration had issued warnings to major cities in the southern region.
