The leaders of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries are likely to review connectivity agreements today, during a retreat at Dhulikhel city of Nepal's Kavrepalanchowk District.
The three major SAARC connectivity agreements include motor vehicle, rail and power grid.
The concluding session of the SAARC Summit which is scheduled to be held today at 4:00 p.m., will be followed by the Kathmandu declaration.
According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also meet Nepal's former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and leaders of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal.
Before the concluding session of the Summit, the heads of SAARC countries are likely to have informal discussions during the Retreat Session.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi already held structured meetings with heads of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives on various issues yesterday; however, there was no meeting with his Pakistan counterpart because of no formal request from the neighbouring country for it.
