Saina Nehwal beats Marin in straight-game to win Australian Open Super Series finals
Indian badminton ace Saina Nehwal bagged the USD 750,000 Australian Open Super Series women's single title as she defeated World Number 11 Carolina Marin in a straight-game victory on Sunday.
Nehwal won the final in 43 minutes as she thrashed Spain's Marin 21.18, 21-11 in Sydney.
This is Nehwal's second title of the year, having won the Indian Open Grand Prix Gold in Delhi earlier.
