Rio Olympic bronze-medallist Sakshi Malik assured herself of the silver medal in the ongoing Asian Wrestling Championship after she stormed into the finals of the 60kg weight category here on Friday.
The 24-year-old grappler, who returned to the mat after almost a year, fended off Ayaulym Kassymova of Kazakhstan 15-3 to enter the summit showdown.
Earlier, Sakshi booked her place in the semi-finals by defeating Uzbekistan's Nabira Esenbaeva 6-2 in the last-eight bout.
Sakshi will now lock horns with Olympic gold medallist Risako Kawai of Japan in the title clash.
