Simplilearn, one of the world's largest providers of online training and professional certification courses, today announced that Ben McCarthy, expert Salesforce MVP Award Winner, has been appointed to its Advisory Board.
Demand for certified Salesforce professionals has soared 159 percent since 2008, leading to a supply shortfall for skilled Salesforce administrators and application developers.
Simplilearn is a leader in Salesforce training, having trained more than 3,000 professionals since 2014. "Simplilearn is one of the few third-party learning platforms that offer an up-to-date, comprehensive curriculum," said McCarthy.
"As a Simplilearn Advisory Board Member, I will advance the Salesforce course category with proven industry and certification methods to ensure that Simplilearn's learners receive best-in-class training," he added.
IDC reports that Salesforce and its associated application ecosystem will create more than one million job opportunities worldwide by the end of 2018, and the benefits of Salesforce adoption will add USD 272 billion to global GDP. Growth in Salesforce adoption is seen in finance, media, retail, communications and life science business sectors.
"With his seven Salesforce certifications and the Salesforce MVP Award, we're thrilled to welcome Ben to the Simplilearn Advisory Board. His thought leadership, knowledge, and commitment to skill-sharing will benefit our learners across industries," said Krishna Kumar, Simplilearn founder and CEO.
"The Simplilearn Salesforce Administrator and Developer certification showcases a professional's talent to potential employers in taking complete advantage of all the intricacies and features of Salesforce, and Ben's expertise will further sharpen our focus in the Salesforce category," he added.
