Sam Smith has recently opened up about his former boyfriend Jonathan Zeizel, saying he should not have fallen in love with him.
During the Golden Globes red carpet, the 23-year-old singer, on being asked if his former boyfriend regretted breaking his heart, said that falling in love with him was his fault, People magazine reports.
The 'Lay Me Down' hit-maker, who was nominated for the best original song for the James Bond movie 'Spectre', added, "But it sounds like its all water under the bridge now. We're still friends, it's all good."
Earlier, Smith revealed that he made a mistake by posting his pictures with Zeizel on Instagram.
The 73rd annual Golden Globes that took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California was hosted by Ricky Gervais and this marked his fourth time as the host of the award night.
