Waxed! Sam Smith will soon unveil his wax model at Madame Tussauds, San Francisco.
Sources revealed that the 23-year-old singer will be performing at the Outside Lands music festival on August 9 and will attend the grand unveiling of his statue on the following day, reported News24.com.
Talking about the event Chris Connors, General Manager of the museum said that they were honoured to celebrate the singer's musical accomplishments in San Francisco and they couldn't wait to offer his fans a chance to get up close to one of the best-loved singers of his generation.
Interestingly, the 'Stay With Me' hit-maker had to sit for multiple hours in order to get his replica made and even underwent a complete 3D scan to ensure the proportions of his model were correct.
