SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said he was unwell for a long time, and the party is saddened by this loss.

Advisor to the Uttar Pradesh Government, Madhukar Jetley said that Singh's demise is great loss to the Samajwadi Party.

He worked with several great personalities. Samajwadi Party will face a huge loss. May his soul rest in peace and his family get strength to bear the loss," he said.
