Samsung has announced a new tablet called Galaxy Tab S2.
According to the nextweb.com, the tablet is available in two sizes of 9.7-inch and 8.0-inch variants. This tablet is 5.6 mm thick and weighs just 389 grams for the 9.7-inch model and 265 grams for the 8.0-inch.
The tablet has Super AMOLED displays at 2048x1536 resolutions and an Octa- core processor which has Quad 1.9 GHz and Quad 1.3GHz processors with a microSD slot that allows the users to add an additional 128GB of space.
In addition, this Tablet has 3GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, depending on the variant.
The devices will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel snapper on the front.
In addition, a fingerprint reader has been included, which allows the users to secure and unlock the device with just a touch of the home key.
The Galaxy Tab S2 will be launched globally this August.
Samsung has not yet announced the cost of the tab.
