Pakistan's wicket-keeper cum batsman Sarfaraz Ahmad is all set to get married on 19th May with Khushbakht Aftab, who is the daughter of a former umpire.
Ahmed's Mehndi ceremony is on May 17 while his Valima ceremony will take place on May 25.
Ahmad will be all decked up in sherwani and suit in the wedding events designed by Humayun Alamgir. Alamgir said that he has even incorporated Ahmad's jersey number 54 in sherwani, by putting 54 boxes to the sleeves of the sherwani, which features intricate handwork in gold.
Ahmad said that his wedding was initially going to take place in June, but now with the Zimbabwe tour being scheduled, May 19 has been finalised for the wedding event, the Tribune Express reported.
He realises that it would be difficult to maintain balance between professional and personal life as had seen many married cricketers, adding that he would try to manage to the best of his ability.
The Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman came into the limelight during the World Cup2015 when he scored 49 off 49 deliveries against South Africa and took six catches to equal the world record for the most number of dismissals in an ODI.
