Famous talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday announced that 16th season of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' would be airing soon.
She posted a picture on Instagram where she can be seen holding a placard that reads, "Season 16 sets sail Today!"
DeGeneres in her post said that she "can't believe it's my 16th one of these". "Send me your back-to-school photos with the hashtag #EllenRateMyBackToSchoolPhoto," she added, while possibly indicating the theme of her upcoming season.
The show has won 59 Emmy Awards as of 2017, including four under the 'Outstanding Talk Show' and six for 'Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment' category.
It surpassed the record held by 'The Oprah Winfrey Show', which had won nine awards. The show's YouTube channel is one of the 20 most-subscribed channels.
