Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda on Wednesday said that a senior delegation will visit Telangana for taking stock of the rising swine flu cases in the region.
"I am sending a senior delegation today to Hyderabad. They will visit the Telangana region and after getting the reports from them, whatever support they need we will give them," Nadda told ANI.
The Health Minister also assured full assistance and support from the Centre adding that people should not panic but need to be alert.
Telangana is reportedly the worst affected state with over 150 swine flu positive cases being reported from the region, with seven deaths this year so far.
